Team/Role Overview:
Within the Citi Services business, Citi is a market leading, award-winning provider of cash management, cards and trade solutions to its institutional clients, financial institutions, public sector and corporate clients around the world. With a global network spanning 90+ countries, we are uniquely qualified to service clients with local and cross-border business activities.
This is a Global Product Commercialisation role, with a particular focus on Data Analysis and Business Performance Reporting, in the Cross-Border Payments Business. The Cross-Border Payments business incorporates WorldLink Payment Services (Citi's leading institutional cross-border, cross-currency payments solution), CBFT (Cross-Border Funds Transfers offered by each Citi branch to clients with local branch accounts) and Cross-Border Receivables (enabling our institutional clients to collect funds cross-border). Citi’s Cross-Border Payments solutions enables Citi’s Institutional to efficiently execute cross-border/cross-currency payments and collections, providing global access, integrated FX, cost efficiencies and payment optionality in the form of various payment methods. The business enables local currency payments in over 200 markets on behalf of thousands of global clients across all client segments, representing a truly global business.
What you’ll do:
This role requires an individual that is innovative, self-driven, with excellent communication and influencing skills; able to work effectively across teams, and at all levels in a fast-paced environment. The best candidate will be someone that is able to develop and execute growth strategies, support client solutioning, but also enjoys and is an expert with analysing data and communicating business performance results and trends to drive growth strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data analysis techniques and the ability to provide insightful commentary on the findings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Business Growth: Work with the wider Product Commercialisation and Core product teams to identify opportunities for Growth, at a capabilities and client segment level.
- Sales Enablement and Deal Support: Create sales content and deliver sales training - provide deal support to all regions, ensuring key capabilities are understood and client’s needs are met.
- Pipeline Creation and Management: Gather input from Sales and Data driven analysis to identify target market. Build, track, and execute pipelines and growth strategies.
- Communications Management: Design and execute internal and external communication, from Marketing Campaigns to Product Launches, Commercialisation Updates, Press Releases, and general market updates.
- Developing and implementing data analysis strategies: Effectively track and analyse the performance of the bank's cross border payments business; identifying key performance indicators, setting up data collection processes, and utilising various analytical tools.
- Creating and maintaining performance reports: Creating and maintaining performance reports that provide a clear and comprehensive overview of the cross-border payments business. These reports would need to be accurate, timely, and easily understandable for various stakeholders including senior management.
- Identifying trends and patterns: Identify trends and patterns in the data that can be used by the management team to make informed business decisions.
- Providing recommendations and driving business growth: Provide recommendations based on data analysis and drive business growth.
- Lead Global Deal Reviews: Co-ordinate Global Deal reviews across all clusters, including key stakeholders to ensure any complex or non-standard solutions are reviewed and signed off.
- Drive remediation of attrition: Working closely with the regional product teams and respective Sales partners to highlight, track, report and remediate attrition.
What we’ll need from you:
Knowledge/Experience:
- VP / SVP level in a Cash Management, Trade or Securities Business, in a commercial business and/or sales and client management environment is favourable.
- Data Analysis and business performance reporting experience is critical.
- Strong track record of results delivery and execution.
Skills and Competencies:
- Communication skills: Very strong communication skills, online/zoom and in person.
- Senior presence and ability to operate at different levels (e.g. research/analysis, thought-partnerships, presentations, interactions with O&T partners and 3rd parties).
- Proficiency in statistical analysis: A thorough understanding of statistical methods and tools is essential for accurately analysing business performance data e.g. Excel, Tableau, and SQL.
- Knowledge of data visualisation tools: Being able to present data in a visually appealing and easy-to-understand format is crucial for effective communication of insights and trends.
- Critical thinking: The ability to think critically and ask the right questions is crucial for identifying drivers and trends in business performance data.
- Problem-solving skills: Must be able to identify and solve complex problems related to data collection, organization, and interpretation.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams: Data analysts often work with teams from different departments, so the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively is important.
- Senior presence and leadership: The ability to operate at different levels (e.g. research/analysis, thought-partnerships, presentations, interactions with O&T partners and 3rd parties).
Qualifications:
- Data and business analysis related qualifications are favourable.
- Undergraduate Degree/Third Level Qualification preferred but relevant experience takes precedence.
