Join Citi's Data Solutions Production Management team as an Application Support Senior Analyst and take ownership of keeping business-critical applications stable, efficient, and effective for clients across the globe. In this role, you will serve as a key connector between end users, internal technology teams, and vendors — resolving issues, driving continuous improvement, and acting as a subject matter expert for senior stakeholders. Your work will directly influence the reliability and performance of systems that matter to Citi's daily operations and its clients.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain production applications and their operating environments, ensuring stability, quality, and functionality are consistently delivered against service level expectations.
Conduct start-of-day checks, continuous application monitoring, and coordinate regional handovers to ensure seamless operational coverage.
Assess the risk and impact of production issues, escalating promptly to business and technology management while adhering to agreed service level agreements.
Define scope and objectives for complex application enhancements and problem resolution, partnering with development and production support teams to prioritize bug fixes and tooling improvements.
Participate in end-to-end application releases — spanning development, testing, and deployment into production — and conduct post-implementation analysis to validate system design and functionality.
Identify risks, vulnerabilities, and security considerations within the technology environment, communicating impact clearly to relevant stakeholders.
Coach and advise junior analysts, contributing to team capability and knowledge-sharing across technology groups.
Lead and deliver support project initiatives focused on stability, efficiency, and effectiveness improvements that benefit both the team and the wider business.
Required Qualifications & Skills
5 to 8 years of experience in an application support role, with a demonstrated ability to manage and maintain business applications in a production environment.
Experience in cloud-native environment is required.
Working knowledge of SQL and MongoDB are preferred and will be considered added advantage.
Autosys / CONTROL-M or other schedulers will be of added advantage.
Practical experience installing, configuring, and supporting business applications across their operational lifecycle.
Ability to perform same-day risk reconciliations and maintain accurate technical support documentation.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to filter, prioritize, and act on complex information from multiple sources under time pressure.
Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical issues into plain language for non-technical stakeholders.
Experience using issue tracking and problem management tools to log, monitor, and report on incidents and resolutions.
Ability to plan and manage workload independently, adapting quickly to shifting priorities with a limited need for direct supervision.
Flexibility to work shifts between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with availability to support weekend rotations as required by the business.
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
Experience with one or more programming languages, with a willingness to expand technical skills as the role and environment evolve.
Familiarity with application contingency planning and storage or archiving procedures within a financial services or enterprise environment.
Experience collaborating across cross-functional technology teams, including development, infrastructure, and vendor management.

Linux
- 2 - 3 years of experience
Database
- Good SQL experience in any of the RDBMS.
- Good Knowledge in Mongo DB.
Scheduler
- Autosys / CONTROL-M or other schedulers will be of added advantage.
Programming Languages
- UNIX shell scripting, Python will be of added advantage.
Cloud Native Environment :
- Working or having Exposure to Cloud Environments [ OpenShift / GCP / AWS ]
Monitoring Tools :
- Working experience of ITRS Active Console/ GCO / other monitoring tools
