About the team
We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our Deliveroo Rider Onboarding/Compliance Team. This is an exciting and fast-paced team that plays a key role in helping applicants become Deliveroo riders, ensuring we maintain a strong and available fleet to meet customer demand. About the role
Reporting to the Rider Onboarding and Compliance Team Lead(s), you will work closely with the wider Rider Operations and Compliance teams. Your responsibilities will span the entire rider lifecycle, from ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding experience for new applicants to proactively maintaining the compliance of our active riders. You will manage key stages of the onboarding process, support applicants through their journey, and help maintain accurate pipeline pacing to meet supply needs across various markets. In addition, you will be responsible for managing compliance pipelines to reduce rider downtime and ensure Deliveroo is compliant with local laws at all times. This role requires strong attention to detail, a focus on process excellence, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-moving environment.
Work full-time in the London Office
Hybrid working policy : 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
Different shift possibilities:
Monday - Friday with some Weekend work ( 1 weekend every 6-8 weeks)
Tuesday-Sunday
Wednesday-Monday
Thursday-Tuesday
Friday-Wednesday
Your main responsibilities will include:
Support applicants through the onboarding stages by ensuring smooth movement through application flows
Work towards weekly hiring targets by managing onboarding flows effectively, and proactively identify and escalate any bottlenecks or blockers that could impact the achievement of targets.
Launching new markets, being involved in everything from the rider apply page to hitting our target
Work with our Vendors and ensure they are assigned to tasks daily, and perform weekly QA Work to targets, maintaining a high and level of productivity and quality
Escalate issues with proposed solutions and share feedback with your manager
Willing to help out on a range of admin tasks
Help all our markets with their supply pipelines and flows
Accurately load riders to compliance sweeps to ensure we have valid and compliant rider information and documentation
Respond to internal and external compliance escalations
Ensure the Rider Compliance Team process and training documentation is up-to-date
Collaborate with the Compliance Team to identify opportunities for reducing inefficiencies within our processes
Collaborate with the broader Rider Compliance Team to achieve KPIs and targets
Proactively identify, investigate and take appropriate actions to mitigate rider compliance risk within our fleet or processes
Requirements
You are proficient in written and spoken English
You have strong communication skills
You are highly organised with excellent attention to detail
You are comfortable following structured processes and escalating where guidance is needed
You are a team player and collaborate well with others
You are adaptable and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment
You are motivated, consistent, and eager to learn
Desirable
Experience using Saleforce and Gsheets
Proficient in French, Dutch, Italian
