Are you ready to make a difference in healthcare by ensuring the highest standards of microbiological testing? As a Microbiological Technologist, you’ll play a key role in maintaining product quality and safety. You’ll work collaboratively with a team of experts, using your skills to perform microbiological testing and support investigations. We value candidates who are detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about continuous improvement.

In this role you will…

• Lead Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, finished products, and environmental samples following established procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Support investigations into microbiological anomalies and contribute to problem-solving efforts.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
• Create and update documentation, including procedures, protocols, and reports.

Train and mentor junior staff in microbiological techniques and laboratory practices.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 5 GCSEs, including Science or equivalent experience.
• Practical knowledge in at least one area of pharmaceutical microbiology (e.g., environmental monitoring, sterility testing, microbial identification).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• A Level in Science or equivalent qualification.
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and relevant regulations.
• Experience in method development or validation.
