Business System Owner, Records Management and Archiving

We are looking for a Business System Owner, Records Management and Archiving to join our team.
As the successful candidate you will provide leadership and business process ownership of the Records Management and Archiving (RMA) electronic platforms (including eArchive) and associated data journey. Ensure robust GxP compliance oversight and audit readiness processes are embedded within the design, delivery, and lifecycle support of RMA electronic systems. Accountable to provide compliance oversight for business change to support R&D and other business units with signed SLAs. Accountable for RMA platform processes that ensure procedures and controls are developed, enhanced, and maintained to manage data integrity, data standards and data reporting.

Our approach to R&D
In this role you will:
- Lead and act as business process owner of RMA electronic platforms.
- Influence the strategy, architecture, integration, and management of RMA platforms, including capability, data standards and risk management for the data model to ensure it meets business and regulatory expectations.
- Provide the oversight to ensure consistent standards and risk-based validation approaches are adopted in the RMA system implementations and BaU.
- Provide the Process Owner oversight to maintain RMA platforms audit ready and in compliance with the expectations of GSK and the regulators. GEMBA, reveal problems and support the definition of appropriate target conditions.
- Manage the processes and appropriate resources to support the RMA platforms BaU model.
- Build and maintain strong business and technical links with the Tech teams and relevant third-party vendors.
- Assess skills, knowledge, and capability needs associated with RMA electronic platforms. Provide training and serve in a coaching / mentoring role as necessary to support both implementations and BaU.
- Provide input and direction to the RMA digital roadmap and ambition. Align and deliver programs to meet operational targets.

Qualifications & Skills:
We are looking for a professional with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and experience in records management, information management, library science, or related field
- Proven experience in records management in a pharmaceutical context, with an understanding of records retention and destruction
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly a good working knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g. GxP, ICH) as they apply to records management
- Knowledge of records retention and disposition schedules, policies, and procedures; knowledge of records destruction methods, techniques, and tools for various formats and media
- Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and industry requirements and best practices for records management and records destruction
- Understanding of DTMS (Document Management Standard for systems) and GXP validation.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Skills in records management, collaboration, and office software such as OpenText Content Manager, Microsoft 365 suite of products
- Skills in project management, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving
- Experience in OpenText, Viva Vault, cloud hosting, and managing large data sets, and Azure.
- Certification in records management, such as CRM, IGP, or CIP
