We are looking for a Quality Specialist – Trading Partner to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract basis.

The successful candidate will support the Responsible Person in the fulfilment of responsibilities associated with licences, authorisations and registrations in the global wholesale distribution operations. You will be involved in the maintenance and management of Quality Assurance Agreements supporting the Trading Partner business operations globally. You will also, maintain and develop the Trading Partner Quality function to comply with the GSK Quality Management System.

This role is offered on a hybrid basis. You will work from the Dublin, Ireland site and from home as agreed with your manager.

In this role you will

  • Maintain and operate the Quality System in Trading Partner Quality / Supply Chain Finance including key processes such as deviation, CAPA, incident management, change control, risk management and self-inspection.
  • Maintain Quality Assurance Agreements that support the operations of the Trading Partner Companies.
  • Ensure that the training programme is maintained.
  • Maintain the Customer, Supplier and Active Ingredient qualification processes.
  • Maintain registrations, authorisation and licences as required.
  • Support the preparation of internal and external audits or inspections at all levels.
  • Support the Quality Council process ensuring that risks and issues are escalated to a leadership team level and that appropriate actions are taken.
  • Support and maintain the document management system in Trading Partner Quality including review of QMS documents and updates to Trading Partner Quality SOPs.

Basic Qualifications & Skills:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Minimum education requirement of Leaving Certificate (Higher Level) or equivalent, including QQI Levels 3–5 or Junior Certificate. A degree in a relevant scientific discipline is desirable.
  • Experience working in a regulated pharmaceuticals environment.
  • Experience in a Quality Assurance role in a complex regulated pharmaceutical environmental including experience in the application and improvement of Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Experience in wholesaling in a pharmaceutical environment.
  • Experience working with and managing quality systems.
  • Knowledge of the management of WDA (H) and API licences for the UK and EU.
  • Strong computer literacy and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred, if you do not have them, please still apply:

  • Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a regulated pharmaceuticals environment with an emphasis on the regulatory requirements for distribution of medicinal products in accordance with the EU GDP Guidelines.
