Business Unit Director, Vaccines Adult Portfolio

Are you passionate about making a difference to patients’ lives and shaping the future of healthcare? We are seeking an experienced and visionary commercial leader to drive the strategy and execution for our leading adult vaccines portfolio in Brazil.
This is a pivotal leadership role within our Vaccines Business Unit, responsible for delivering sustainable commercial performance by shaping the environment to increase access to our adult vaccines. You will work in close partnership with the local, regional and global cross functional teams, ensuring strategic alignment, operational excellence in a complex and evolving adult vaccination landscape.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Provide end‑to‑end leadership and accountability for the Adult Vaccines business across private and public markets, driving sustainable growth and long‑term value creation
- Develop and execute integrated brand strategies, aligned with overall global brand vision and tailored to the Brazilian market opportunity
- Own integrated commercial leadership, ensuring strong alignment between portfolio strategy, marketing priorities, and sales execution
- Define and lead access expansion strategies in close partnership with Medical, Market Access, Government Affairs and Policy teams
- Lead market‑shaping initiatives, engaging with physicians, public stakeholders, payers, point of care and institutional decision‑makers within complex reimbursement and access environments
- Drive portfolio and lifecycle strategy, balancing scientific complexity, access barriers, and long‑term market development
- Build, develop, and inspire high‑performing teams, fostering accountability, ambition for patients and high governance standards
- Champion innovation and continuous improvement, introducing emerging technologies and agile practices

Basic & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
- Broad senior leadership experience within complex, science‑driven healthcare or life sciences environments
- Solid Business Unit / Franchise Lead experience and proven track record in delivering measurable business growth
- Proven experience navigating access‑dependent, non‑retail, or high‑complexity business models across both public and private setting
- Excellence in stakeholder engagement with ability to build relationships across multiple stakeholders including physicians, payers, government bodies, institutional decision‑makers and internal partners
- Strategic mindset with a track record of developing markets and leading effectively through ambiguity, change and pressure
- Change management capability to lead organizational transformation and implement scalable commercial solutions
- Clear and effective communication skills with ability to convey complex strategy and decisions across all organizational levels
Working Model
- This role is remote but punctual presence in the office on key moments will be required.
