About R&D Technologies
R&D Tech is the foundation for medicine discovery at GSK, bringing together our platform and data groups in a world-class technology organisation to create a portfolio of important, first-in-class medicines. As HR Business Partner, you will work shoulder-to-shoulder with the drug hunters, data scientists, computational biologists, and AI engineers who are rewriting the rules of medicine discovery — using machine learning to predict drug targets, generative AI to design novel molecules, and data at massive scale to understand disease in ways never before possible. What You Will Do
Lead and deliver change initiatives, helping our business adapt and thrive in a rapidly evolving science and technology landscape.
Use data and business acumen to identify opportunities and develop forward-looking people solutions.
Champion our culture of inclusion and engagement, fostering a psychologically safe environment where innovation flourishes.
Partner with the R&D Talent Team to attract, retain, and develop top scientific and technical talent.
Coach and counsel senior R&D leaders on organisational design, team effectiveness, and people strategy.
Ensure compliance with HR policies and mitigate people-related risks across a complex, global organisation.
Basic Qualifications:
University/College Diploma or Degree in HR, Business, or related field with strong HR operations/generalist and business partnering experience.
7+ years of experience in a client-facing HR business partnering role.
Proven experience in leadership development, talent management, inclusion and engagement, executive coaching, and performance management.
Track record delivering large-scale, complex HR projects with measurable business impact.
Ability to leverage data and analytics to drive insights, sound decisions, and calculated risk-taking.
Adept at navigating complex, matrixed global organisations and sophisticated stakeholder networks.
Preferred Qualifications:
HR Consultancy, Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or R&D Technology experience.
Demonstrated learning agility and ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Ability to coach, challenge, and influence at the most senior leadership levels.
Experience delivering complex global organisational change and restructuring.
Skill in analysing people data to draw actionable insights and recommend decisive actions.
Passion for continuous improvement with a proven track record of business impact.
