This role provides an exciting opportunity to work directly with J.P. Morgan's technology and business leaders to drive the firm's technology strategy.
As part of the Global Technology Investment Governance Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting fast-paced projects to solve complex problems and implement critical initiatives. Projects include developing the overall strategic vision, operating model, architecture, and processes for the Investment & Portfolio Governance across Global Technology.
Job Responsibilities
Defining and deconstructing problems for the Global Technology organization
- Drive strategic change initiatives in partnership with Product, Technology, Lines of Businesses and Corporate Functions
- Working collaboratively with team members across LOBs to analyzing current operational processes and support designing the target operating model
- Drive governance and oversight of the strategic vision, ensuring stakeholder engagement and alignment, and deliver status updates
- Identify potential roadblocks/emerging risks and escalate issues as needed
- Effectively present ideas and concepts to influence senior management / stakeholder decisions
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Excellent and efficient skills using MS Excel and PowerPoint tools (absolutely required)
- Experience designing/implementing Portfolio Management and Governance frameworks (absolutely required)
- Commercial experience in strategic or transformational change, or product development
- Diverse problem solving experience, preferably with a top management consulting firm or in other generalist problem solving environments across technology sectors
- Strong program / project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and work under pressure
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
- Pro-active self-starter with ability to solve diverse problems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional team
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Experience in Portfolio Governance and/or Finance
- Experience applying data analysis to solve business problems in fast-moving environment
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration, including influencing stakeholders and working with diverse teams.
