Job Description
Seeking an experienced Executive Director to run Infrastructure Underwriting across Global Credit Financing (GCF) within Credit Trading. This role sits within Markets with a global purview.
As the Executive Director within Global Credit Financing, you will focus on private credit portfolio financing opportunities with the goal of growing the business to $10bn. You will work closely with clients, including private credit funds, asset managers, and BDCs, to provide financing solutions secured by their infrastructure assets. You will conduct in-depth discussions with clients about their investments, underwriting practices, and overall risk management. Additionally, you will collaborate with the sales, origination, and structuring teams to ensure the right structure and terms of the financing.
Job responsibilities
- Report directly to the Global Head of Underwriting for Credit Financing in NY
- Manage risk across Infrastructure financing solutions, which will include assets across the Infra ecosystem (energy, transportation, digital, etc.)
- Opine on structure of financing facilities
- Interface with clients to understand their investments and demonstrate expertise on behalf of JPM
- Think strategically to innovate and grow the business
- Manage a team and develop junior talent
- Partner effectively with Credit Risk and Market Risk
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities
- Extensive experience in infrastructure-related credit risk management, investment banking, or portfolio management, with a strong background in credit risk analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a global team
- Strong analytical and modeling skills
- Ability to thrive under competitive pressure with an excellent work ethic
- Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze the impact of macro-events on credit portfolios
This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
