As an Senior Lead AI Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Data Science team under Global Technology CDAO, you will design, develop, deploy, and maintain AI products that support our clients and business priorities. You will work closely with data engineers, research scientists, and other software professionals to deliver secure, stable, and scalable technology solutions. Your contributions will help drive long-term projects and support the growth of our businesses. You will be a valued member of an agile team, focused on delivering trusted AI technology in a collaborative and inclusive environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to deliver products to production
  • Build and maintain data pipelines for analytics, model evaluation, and training, ensuring versioning, compliance, and validation
  • Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
  • Create secure and high-quality production code, review and debug code written by others, and maintain algorithms
  • Identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture
  • Provide technical guidance and direction to support business and technical teams
  • Contribute to a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages, including Python, Golang, and TypeScript
  • Experience with GPT, LLM, RAG, Gen AI, and prompt engineering technologies
  • Background in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
  • Solid understanding of software applications and technical processes within related technical disciplines
  • Ability to create complex and scalable coding solutions using appropriate software design frameworks
