Job Description

Are you ready to make a significant impact on global security operations? As a Global Security Operations Centre Specialist, you will be part of a high-performing team that oversees daily operations and incident management to support the safety and security of the firm’s personnel and assets. You will work closely with stakeholders to provide situational updates and support, whilst also playing a key role within our crisis management framework. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, where your skills and expertise will be highly valued and fully utilised.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive written communications promptly to provide situational updates to stakeholders on incidents affecting employees, assets, or operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
  • Manage travel security operations, ensuring that high-risk travel is assessed and appropriately supported. Work closely with intelligence teams, local security representatives, and vendors to ensure the safety of staff.
  • Compile and send travel and analytical reports as required, ensuring accuracy and relevance, and distributing them to appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner to support informed decision-making.
  • Act as the initial point of contact for enquiries from across the firm, including but not limited to travel advice and approvals, security and first aid incidents, requests for CCTV review, and unique reports or communications.
  • Support the firm’s crisis management function by organising and/or chairing meetings, taking minutes, and providing updates both verbally and in writing.
  • Monitor critical facility alarms, ensuring timely responses, investigations, and escalations in line with established service level agreements. Conduct thorough investigations using CCTV and monitoring applications, and carry out alarm testing, identifying faults and following up until resolution.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience working in a Global Security Operations Centre environment, with a background in incident management, crisis management, or a similar function.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple workstreams, demonstrating strong organisational skills, adaptability, and the capacity to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce comprehensive reports and deliver clear, confident presentations to senior stakeholders.
  • Displays outstanding customer service and professionalism, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels throughout the organisation.
  • Demonstrates a capacity to learn and understand how different types of incidents may impact the firm in varied ways, adapting responses and solutions to address specific circumstances and organisational needs.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow processes and procedures meticulously, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organisational standards, while also demonstrating the initiative to think independently and approach challenges with creative, solutions-oriented thinking when required.
  • Experience with operation-specific tools and technologies, enabling efficient task execution and effective problem-solving within a security operations environment.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience in access control, alarm monitoring, intruder detection, and CCTV monitoring applications, with an ability to operate and troubleshoot these systems effectively.
  • Previous experience in operations room, military, or law enforcement environments.

The position of Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) Specialist is fully office-based, requiring work on a rotational shift pattern of day and night shifts including weekends and public holidays.
