The Strategy and Execution team is responsible for defining and articulating the CDO vision and strategy and executing on strategic initiatives to deliver on the CDO roadmap. The team leads strategic projects that enable Lines of Businesses and Corporate Functions with the tools and solutions to achieve AI-ready data, and effectively and efficiently manage data risk.

As a Strategic Program Manager within the Firmwide CDO, you will be responsible for driving change that delivers new and enhanced products, solutions, operating models, and processes aligned to data across the Firm. You will co-ordinate and oversee strategic initiatives throughout the lifecycle from initiation through to completion, including program planning, requirements analysis, co-ordination with Product and Technology teams for design, development, and testing, managing execution and transition / go-live phases.

This position will play a critical role in the modernization of the Firm’s data management and governance practices, as well as in meeting regulatory commitments.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic change initiatives in partnership with Product, Technology, Lines of Businesses, and Corporate Functions
  • Gather, synthesize, and prioritize requirements from Lines of Businesses, Corporate Functions, and firmwide stakeholders
  • Partner with Product and Technology to design solutions and define the product roadmap and deliverables
  • Support the development of business cases for strategic programs to acquire the necessary funding to deliver the roadmap
  • Provide governance and oversight of the strategic program, ensure stakeholder engagement and alignment, and deliver status updates
  • Identify potential roadblocks/emerging risks and escalate as needed
  • Establish and drive PMO capabilities for large programs, ensuring effective governance, reporting, and stakeholder management
  • Develop and implement standardized project management processes, tools, and templates to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive program reporting and metrics, and communicate progress and performance to senior executives
  • Coach other team members and contribute to the wider group’s objectives

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of industry experience
  • Proven experience leading programs that drive strategic or transformational change through new capabilities, products, or solutions in large, complex organizations
  • Expertise in program governance, project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall), and enterprise tooling for planning, execution, and tracking
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tight timelines and multiple deliverables under pressure
  • Strong communication skills, interpersonal and influencing skills, with a proven ability to driven alignment across multiple stakeholders
  • Skilled in management and status reporting, delivering clear actional messages to leadership
  • Adept at navigating ambiguity and identifying process improvement opportunities to strengthen execution and team effectiveness
  • Pro-active self-starter with ability to solve diverse problems and cross-functional challenges
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and other project management tools
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) Business, Finance, Economics, Data Management, or other related field, or equivalent experience
