As a Vice President in EMEA Payments Product Control, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements while supporting the Trade and Working Capital business. You will collaborate across the organization to deliver timely reporting, maintain strong controls, and drive new initiatives. This role empowers you to make a significant impact, develop your technical and analytical skills, and lead transformation efforts to optimize P&L and risk reporting. You will be at the forefront of transitioning a key function to the region, directly supporting business growth and enhancing the control environment.

Job responsibilities

  • Produce, prepare, and report monthly profit and loss and risk metrics, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Deliver detailed financial analysis and reporting to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance management
  • Partner with the business to implement robust controls and new initiatives
  • Drive coordination across functions to resolve control and reporting issues
  • Serve as an analytical and project support resource for product control
  • Handle various ad-hoc requests daily
  • Manage projects and initiatives related to product control and cross-business programs
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team environment
  • Maintain a strong control focus in all tasks

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field
  • Qualified accountant with proven track record/qualified by experience
  • Experience in product control, financial control, accounting, or a related area with in-depth understanding of P&L reporting and month-end close processes
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a control focus
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required; Alteryx useful
  • Ability to manage and lead multiple tasks and projects to conclusion
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to accuracy and integrity of financial data
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering results

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Product knowledge and hands-on experience in the Payments business
  • Understanding of transaction cycle, infrastructure, and associated operational and financial processes and controls
  • Experience supporting senior management and delivering under pressure
  • Detail-oriented with ability to deep dive on processes and improve controls or efficiencies
  • Ability to drive business initiatives
  • Experience coordinating across multiple teams
  • Advanced technical skills in financial analysis tools
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills
