As a Business Manager in Investment Product Operations within Asset and Wealth Management Operations, you help set strategy, optimize performance, and enable execution across diverse products and stakeholders. We work together to turn goals into action, elevate team culture, and make a positive impact for our clients and communities. You bring curiosity, clarity, and momentum to complex initiatives while building relationships across the firm.
Job responsibilities
- Advise the Investment Product Operations leadership team across multiple product lines.
- Support the Lead Business Manager in communicating priorities and tracking progress.
- Prepare and deliver clear, accurate presentations and reports for internal and external audiences.
- Partner across the organization to execute the people agenda.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to track open roles, funding, and staffing needs.
- Liaise with Finance to prepare budgets and forecasts, manage expenses, report headcount, and oversee allocations.
- Identify and drive opportunities for cost optimization, organizational and operational design, and innovation.
- Coordinate agendas, presentations, and follow‑ups for leadership meetings, internal forums, town halls, and select client meetings.
- Streamline processes and prepare senior leaders for key meetings by compiling data, developing talking points, and creating materials.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services strategy, business management, or financial planning.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders toward shared goals.
- Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation development in PowerPoint.
- Strategic thinker who develops solutions and presents recommendations to senior leaders.
- Highly organized project manager who prioritizes and meets multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Self‑starter comfortable with ambiguity who drives initiatives from idea to completion.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Knowledge of asset management, wealth management, and operations.
- Experience with budget planning, forecasting, and expense management.
- Experience in headcount planning and workforce analytics.
- Familiarity with Tableau or similar visualization platforms.
- Experience supporting leadership forums, town halls, and client meetings.
- Background in organizational design or operating model change.
