Job Summary:
As a Governance Risk and Controls Senior Associate in the Cyber Security team, you will play a key role in strengthening our technology risk management practices. You will work closely with partners across the firm to ensure robust risk frameworks, operational resilience, and compliance with regulatory standards. You’ll help drive critical projects and initiatives that support our Information Risk Management program. Your expertise and organizational skills will help us maintain a secure and effective control environment. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values your contributions and encourages your growth.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and firmwide policies and control procedures
  • Facilitate forums to prioritize reported enhancements, process changes, and issues
  • Plan and develop executive-level content for Technology Control Forums
  • Support the definition and maintenance of the technology risk and control environment for the line of business
  • Perform ongoing program analysis and updates to maintain the business Risk Assessment Structure in the Operational Risk Dashboard
  • Collaborate with Operational Risk Management and Business Controls Management to optimize technology risk and control taxonomies
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure oversight and effectiveness of the technical control environment
  • Communicate program status, execution risks, and key decisions to stakeholders and leadership

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Ability to influence change and manage multiple priorities in dynamic environments
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to execute globally and think locally
  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and diverse stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis and developing effective solutions
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, PowerPoint, Excel, and CORE
  • Proven critical thinking and structured problem-solving skills for risk management
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with a proactive approach to sharing updates with leadership
  • Experience using data from large data sets to support initiatives through analytics

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience in technology risk management within financial services or a similar industry
  • Familiarity with operational risk dashboards and risk assessment frameworks
  • Advanced presentation and communication skills for executive audiences
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to technology risk
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization
  • Ability to adapt to evolving priorities and drive continuous improvement
  • Certification in risk management or related field (e.g., CRISC, CISM, CISSP)
