Job Description

The Financial Crimes Business Executive (“FCBE”) team is responsible for Anti-Money Laundering (“AML”) and Know-Your-Customer (“KYC”) strategic initiatives/projects to meet regulatory obligations. This includes conducting research, analysis and providing qualitative/quantitative insights to manage projects and initiatives to ensure adherence to our AML/KYC Standards. The role requires alignment with the Firm's AML/KYC initiatives and will require coordination with stakeholders across the organization. Team members are responsible to be knowledgeable of AML/KYC policies and standards to ensure projects and initiatives are within compliance and mitigate the AML/KYC risks to an acceptable level.

Make a global impact by protecting clients and the firm. As part of the FCBE team, you will lead AML/KYC programs that translate policy into effective controls and measurable outcomes. Partner across Compliance, Legal, Operations, Technology, and Senior Management to drive change at scale for the International Private Bank ("IPB"). In addition, you will establish strategic priorities to meet regulatory obligations and mitigate AML/KYC risk for IPB clients.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end AML/KYC programs from design through implementation, review, and reporting across regions.
  • Communicate program strategy, metrics, and outcomes to senior leadership and governance forums.
  • Align projects with KYC Standards and relevant policies to mitigate risk and maintain controls.
  • Partner with Senior Management, Compliance, Controls, Global Financial Crimes Compliance ("GFCC"), Legal, Technology, and Operations to prioritize improvements.
  • Drive implementation of new AML/KYC requirements by assessing policy changes and engaging stakeholders.
  • Present AML/KYC status updates, issue/action plan progress, and program health to governing committees.
  • Review and report on initiatives addressing AML/KYC risks, escalating themes and recommendations.
  • Influence change by championing mission‑critical initiatives and preparing teams to manage through change.
  • Guide onboarding and operational teams to execute a robust AML/KYC program within the IPB.
  • Coordinate across project teams to ensure delivery, risk mitigation, and adherence to standards.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience in controls, audit, quality assurance, risk management, or AML/KYC.
  • Experience leading complex cross‑functional initiatives from analysis and design through delivery.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and influence a strong risk and control culture.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio; able to create executive‑ready presentations.
  • Business acumen and understanding of regulations relevant to private banking and onboarding.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration, relationship building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Process analysis and design skills to connect risks to effective controls.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience executing AML/KYC programs within a global or multi‑regional private bank.
  • Familiarity with GFCC, Compliance, and Legal partnership models and governance structures.
  • Background in change management for policy implementation across Operations and Technology.
  • Ability to develop and track program metrics and dashboards for senior forums.
  • Knowledge of client onboarding processes and KYC lifecycle for UHNW clients.
  • Skill in translating regulatory standards into procedures, training, and communications.
  • Comfort operating in a matrixed environment with diverse, cross‑functional teams.
