As a Brand Designer at J.P. Morgan Personal Investing, you will be someone who can clearly demonstrate hands-on design expertise first and foremost. You should be comfortable in crafting marketing and campaign assets through the funnel, from outdoor advertising to digital display, social media, assets for web and email. You will be an integrated thinker who can bring together a campaign idea, following channel best practice in execution. You will feel comfortable in Figma and across Adobe Creative Cloud, including After Effects, spanning your skillset across brand design systems, scaling campaign creative, social content and growth marketing.

You should be aware of design trends across financial services and other customer-focused brands, with a point of view on how we could do things better at J.P. Morgan Personal Investing. You will also not be afraid to take considered risks or learn from failure. Job responsibilities:

  • Perform hands-on brand design work and experience across multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Work with a team of talented designers and copywriters at pace on idea creation, design execution and maintaining a creative team culture
  • Partnering with marketing colleagues on creative briefs across paid, earned and owned channels
  • Confidently manage and own projects from brief to delivery, maintaining strong working relationships with team members and multiple stakeholders for cohesive communication and effective design outcomes
  • Make decisions and move quickly – don’t be afraid to fail fast, learn and start again
  • Ensure design guidelines, systems and other best practices are followed throughout the design process
  • Present design decisions effectively to creative leads, team members and stakeholders with the confidence to justify your work
  • Ensure completed work is error-free, meets the brief and achieves the desired design / accessibility standards and brand guidelines
  • Review design work within the team as well as receiving team feedback
  • Ensure customers are at the heart of everything we do

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Substantial hands-on experience working in an in-house design studio or creative agency at a mid-senior level
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design competence, creative thinking and an understanding for audiences
  • Experience delivering comprehensive large scale multi-channel projects with a strong brand focus
  • A solid end to end creative design process, with excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign), with knowledge of motion graphics
  • Knowledge of HTML5 banner creation for marketing campaigns
  • Able to respond quickly to urgent requests and prioritise in an agile way with all open projects
  • Flexibility / adaptability (ability to change direction based upon team and stakeholder consensus)
  • An excellent team player who is calm under pressure, with a positive attitude

Required Qualifications

  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira & Confluence is desirable
  • Additional video editing skills would be an advantage
