The Senior Associate will play a pivotal role in the International Consumer Bank Sponsorships Team & Brand Marketing Team, supporting the development and execution of the overarching sponsorship strategy across International Consumer Bank markets and brands.

This position is responsible for supporting the central sponsorship strategy, scoping and evaluation of new and existing partnerships, sponsorship contracting, governance and processes, assessing new sponsorship opportunities, managing internal and external stakeholder relationships and implementing the central measurement framework and process. The role will also oversee planning of sponsorships rights and assets including ticketing and hospitality, and act as a centre of excellence for best practices and industry insights to International Consumer Bank markets and brands, collaborating closely with firmwide sponsorship teams and International Consumer Bank market and brand teams to ensure the central sponsorships strategy is effectively translated into market plans to meet objectives and help ensure the brands sponsorships and partnerships drive optimal value to the business.

Job responsibilities

  • Own central sponsorship strategy and execution, including evaluation/assessment, opportunity scoping, and an effectiveness measurement framework.
  • Partner with markets and brand teams to scope, evaluate, activate, implement, amplify, and report on sponsorship rights/assets.
  • Manage contracts, governance, and processes, serving as an escalation point, resolving issues, and ensuring sponsorship value is delivered.
  • Lead rights, assets, hospitality, and ticketing planning, including allocation and governance across ICB sponsorships.
  • Operate as a sponsorship Centre of Excellence, sharing best practices/industry updates and using research/trends to refine audience-aligned activations.
  • Manage stakeholders and agencies, coordinating internal/external partners, rights holders, and agencies, and supporting leadership of the central sponsorship agency team.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Demonstrable knowledge of sports marketing, sponsorship principles, and industry best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience in sponsorship management, partnership marketing, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical skills, data literacy, and experience with measurement frameworks.
  • Proven ability to manage external agencies, internal stakeholders, and contractual/governance processes.
  • Experience with rights and assets planning, ticketing, and hospitality in a corporate environment.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and collaboration skills; able to handle multiple priorities.
  • Calm under pressure, proactive, and solution-oriented.
  • Passion for culture drivers in sponsorships, including sports and entertainment.

  • Experience in multinational organizations with central guidelines and local execution.
  • Familiarity with regulated sectors is a plus.
