As an AI/ML Vice President in our AI Engineering team, you will design and deliver enterprise-scale AI/ML solutions that drive business outcomes. You will work closely with us to set engineering standards, mentor talented teams, and ensure our solutions are secure, scalable, and production ready. You will help shape our team culture, foster innovation, and contribute to the broader AI strategy. Your leadership will inspire us to push boundaries and create lasting impact.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of AI/ML systems, from concept through production.
  • Remain hands-on in code, setting high standards for engineering quality and reliability.
  • Define architectural patterns for LLM-based systems, agent workflows, and AI-enabled services.
  • Establish AI roadmaps, investment priorities, and reference architectures.
  • Make build/buy decisions and set patterns for model lifecycle, data contracts, and platform services.
  • Guide teams in building Copilot-integrated solutions that enhance enterprise productivity.
  • Define KPIs/OKRs and articulate ROI for AI initiatives; report status and risks to executives.
  • Manage vendors and ensure external solutions are approved before implementation.
  • Drive delivery of production-grade AI solutions with strong observability and operational rigor.
  • Establish best practices for prompt engineering, agent design, evaluation, and monitoring.
  • Ensure AI/ML solutions integrate cleanly with existing platforms, APIs, and enterprise systems.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on programming experience delivering complex systems to production.
  • Deep expertise in Python and modern software engineering practices.
  • Expertise in scalable systems, including microservices, service meshes, and distributed data processing.
  • Proven experience with LLMs/GenAI patterns such as fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation, and safety.
  • Strong communication skills across technical and executive audiences.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience leading or scaling Microsoft 365 Copilot or Copilot Agent–based solutions.
  • Familiarity with Azure, Microsoft Graph, or enterprise productivity platforms.
  • Track record of balancing hands-on engineering leadership with strategic influence.
  • Systems thinking; balances speed, safety, and value creation.
  • Operational excellence in risk management, resiliency, and continuous improvement.
