Help shape how a major EMEA investment securities portfolio is controlled, reported, and explained. You will deliver high-impact analysis across profit and loss and balance sheet, supporting timely and accurate month-end close and regulatory reporting. Working with Treasury, the Chief Investment Office (TCIO) and partner teams, you will strengthen the control environment and help meet evolving regulatory expectations.

As an T/CIO -EMEA Financial Control Specialist- Associate within a TCIO team you will contribute to month-end close, deliver insightful P&L and balance sheet analysis, and ensure timely, accurate reporting across the EMEA Investment Securities portfolio. You will collaborate across Treasury, CIO, and partner teams to meet regulatory expectations, enhance controls, and identify automation opportunities.

Job responsibilities

  • Deliver month end close including P&L and Balance sheet analysis
  • Produce monthly P&L estimation and analysis vs forecast
  • Prepare quarterly regulatory reporting and commentary
  • Maintain a strong control environment and support regulatory and audit compliance activities
  • Create and deliver analytical and management reporting for stakeholders
  • Support ad hoc projects and new business initiatives
  • Identify, prioritize, and implement automation and enhancement of current processes

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • l. Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting/mathematics or other numerate discipline
  • Several years of experience in finance, reporting, product control, or controllership role
  • Good understanding of fixed income securities, derivatives and money market products
  • Solid knowledge of financial accounting
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivots, advanced formulas, efficient workflows)

  • Highly numerate with a methodical approach to problem solving

  • Excellent analytical skills, very high attention to detail and ability to tell a story from the data
  • Positive attitude, conscientiousness and commitment to the job are an absolute must
  • Strong collaboration, relationship building, and communication skills
  • A self-starter and excellent team player with a sense of ownership and accountability

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Accounting or financial qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA/CFA or equivalent)
  • Prior financial control, planning, modelling or analysis experience
  • Some knowledge of programming or tools like Alteryx/Tableau
