As a Finance Business Management Vice President within the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team, you will partner with leaders across the firm to deliver strategic financial reporting and analysis. You will advise CFOs, drive profitability, and enhance efficiencies. You will lead FP&A teams, collaborate with Finance & Business Management, and help shape the direction of our financial strategy. Your work will directly impact the firm’s performance and support a diverse, inclusive team culture.

Job responsibilities

  • Manage annual and continual financial planning activities for product areas, providing rationale and decisions for month-end financial performance and forecasting.
  • Conduct reviews and analysis on product financial performance, consumption planning, budgeting, billing, trends, and exception reports.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with IT partners to provide governance, financial best practices, and guidance.
  • Enable product strategy development and business decisions with product owners for technology products and services.
  • Develop and track performance metrics, creating presentations for senior management.
  • Drive productivity in Finance & Business Management and assist in driving efficiencies within the technology product area.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Corporate Finance, IT, and business lines to ensure thorough product analysis and implementation throughout product lifecycles.
  • Oversee month-end results, forecasts, and annual budgeting processes.
  • Enhance controls and streamline processes, introducing automation where possible.
  • Drive engagement with the investment portfolio and organize financial review and investment approval processes for product groups.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a technical subject.
  • Experience in Financial Services or accounting/controller roles.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex issues clearly.
  • Integrity in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Inquisitive, enthusiastic, and diligent, capable of challenging peers.
  • Team player respected as a trusted partner for Business, Finance, and FP&A teams.
  • Ability to deliver concise conclusions and actionable insights.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in financial modelling and profitability analysis.
  • Track record of process improvement and automation in financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with dashboard development and data visualization tools.
  • Experience presenting to senior management and executive stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of location strategy and span of control analytics.
  • Experience supporting business initiatives with financial business cases.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related quantitative field.
