As a Software Engineer in our Automation & AI Solutions team, you will design and develop creative software solutions using innovative approaches to solve complex technical issues. You will lead the creation and implementation of automation frameworks and AI-driven solutions, develop strategies for performance testing, and establish best practices across the organization. You will collaborate within a Scrum team, participate in Agile activities, and support a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Your expertise will help us deliver scalable, reliable, and secure products that transform our business.
Job responsibilities
- Design and develop creative software solutions using innovative approaches.
- Lead creation and implementation of automation frameworks and AI-driven solutions.
- Develop strategies for performance testing and automation to improve software quality and delivery speed.
- Establish and promote best practices in performance testing and automation.
- Write secure, high-quality production code and review/debug code from other team members.
- Help create and maintain Non-Functional test suites.
- Analyze test results, document testing activities, and track software defects.
- Identify and automate solutions for recurring issues to improve system stability.
- Communicate project status clearly and manage priorities when handling multiple tasks.
- Collaborate within a Scrum team, participate in Agile activities, and support a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Lead complex projects supporting system design, testing, and operational stability, specifically in Workplace, IoT, and Smart Building systems.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification in software engineering with minimum 6 years of experience.
- Strong system design, application development, and operational stability skills.
- Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Hands-on work with Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI.
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks including TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and Hugging Face.
- Experience with distributed systems and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Expertise in microservices, RESTful APIs, and database technologies (relational/NoSQL).
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Blazemeter, and Chaos Monkey Testing.
- Skilled in development and testing tools including JUnit, Groovy, Postman, REST Assured, Eclipse, Maven, Jenkins, and IntelliJ.
- Effective communication across teams and management, with a proactive approach to process improvement.
- Deep understanding of IoT architectures, protocols, device management, and security best practices.
- Experience with smart building systems, property management platforms, and integration of IoT solutions in commercial and residential real estate.
- Track record of delivering scalable, reliable, and secure IoT products from concept to launch, including cloud integration and edge computing.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Cloud certification in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Practical cloud-native development experience.
- Experience in creating and executing performance and chaos test scripts.
- Familiarity with Spark and distributed computing, AI, ML, and Databricks.
