Capture trades, manage lifecycle events, partner with Front Office, and ensure controlled, consistent data end-to-end.
As a Rates Trade Support Associate in EMEA Rates & Emerging Markets Derivative Marketing Support team, you will record and maintain OTC Rates derivative trades from booking through the full lifecycle, ensuring each transaction is captured accurately, updated on time, and reflected consistently across core systems. You will partner closely with Sales & Trading and collaborate with middle office peers, settlements, projects, audit, legal, credit, regulatory reporting, and collateral, giving you broad exposure and a strong end-to-end view of the Rates derivatives infrastructure.
Job responsibilities
- Works closely with the Sales desks to provide end-to-end coverage across the trade lifecycle, including trade capture, booking, confirmation, and settlement.
- Provides trade support and client service to JPMorganChase clients.
- Acts as the first point of contact for the Sales desk, partnering with key stakeholders to investigate and resolve trade disputes, breaks, and exceptions.
- Ensures adherence to industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintains a controlled end-to-end operating environment and supports a strong risk and control culture.
- Produces, reconciles, and explains MIS accurately for Sales and Management.
- Ensures daily KPIs are met.
- Performs key controls to ensure the accuracy and compliance of Sales activities.
- Challenges the status quo by identifying inefficiencies, driving process improvements, and closing control gaps.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skill
- Previous investment banking experience
- Client-facing experience and confidence interacting with clients.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to understand and analyze Front Office and Middle Office requirements.
- Ability to contribute to the ongoing development of a cross-asset technology suite.
- Adaptability and creativity in managing the evolving nature of derivatives operations in an increasingly technology-driven environment.
- Knowledge of external/vendor platforms.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end trade workflow.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience with OTC derivatives processing/lifecycle across one or more asset classes.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., CFTC, EMIR, MiFID, NCMR).
