Job Summary

In this role you will lead and contribute to high‑impact initiatives spanning functional process within Custody Operations. You will manage xLOB programs with partners and stakeholders across Product, Operations, Technology, Risk and Controls, Compliance, Finance, and Business Management to enable strategic decision‑making and deliver operational automation and efficiency. Together, we will identify and execute large‑scale transformation opportunities and strengthen governance, transparency, and risk management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute complex, cross‑functional programs from initiation through delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence
  • Build strong partnerships with stakeholders across product, operations, technology, finance, and business management; collaborate across global regions
  • Oversee governance and documentation, including charters, exit plans, annual governance questionnaires, and materiality assessments
  • Track technology trends and recommend strategic implementations for Custody and Securities Services
  • Provide executive‑ready transparency through robust reporting and project governance; ensure timely delivery with strong risk mitigation
  • Identify issues and facilitate resolution, escalating promptly when needed
  • Manage process re‑engineering, process realignments, and location strategies to drive efficiency
  • Analyse system infrastructure and process flows to identify productivity and efficiency opportunities
  • Gather and document business requirements with operations and client‑facing teams; translate requirements for technology and product development
  • Monitor, track, and report milestones and timelines; manage UAT and production deployment readiness
  • Represent the team in senior program delivery forums; produce clear summaries and presentations for stakeholders

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record leading large change programs and implementing new business processes
  • Experience independently managing complex projects with cross‑functional stakeholders, including senior leadership engagement
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; able to produce executive‑level materials and updates
  • Solid understanding of the trade transaction lifecycle, cash management, and corporate actions
  • Experience with intelligent automation and analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau) and data skills in Python and SQL
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and issue‑resolution skills with disciplined execution in fast‑paced environments
  • Experience in Custody, Securities Services or Middle Office functions
  • Excellent meeting facilitation, presentation, and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Master’s degree or advanced study in a relevant field
  • Experience implementing AI or blockchain‑enabled solutions in production environments
  • Familiarity with governance artifacts such as charter maintenance, materiality assessments, exit plans, and governance questionnaires
  • Advanced data science or automation proficiency (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, Python, SQL) for scaling operational efficiencies
  • Experience leading process re‑engineering and location strategy initiatives across global programs
  • Exposure to senior‑level communications, presentations, and stakeholder management
  • Custody product and process knowledge
