As an Associate or Vice President in the EMEA Equity Delta One trading team, you will cover a global book of MSCI Global Developed and Emerging Markets indexes. You’ll learn to trade all delta one products on global indexes, respond to client requests, and collaborate with diverse teams. As an Associate or Vice President the EMEA Equity Delta One trading team, you will price client requests, optimize desk executions, and track global indexes. You’ll develop tools for daily tracking, code quick win solutions for the desk, and provide first-class service to sales, marketers, and other trading teams. You’ll expand relationships with Exotics and F&O teams, and leverage your quantitative and coding skills to drive efficiency and accuracy in daily business.

Job responsibilities

  • Price client requests for equity performance swaps, futures, synthetics, rolls, and swaps on Global EM/DM indexes.
  • Optimize desk daily executions, including matching and back tests for hedging strategies.
  • Optimize global indexes tracking, including corporate actions hedging and dividends reinvestment.
  • Spot and seize opportunities in the IDB.
  • Develop tools for global indexes daily tracking business.
  • Code quick win tools for the trading desk using Python and VBA.
  • Provide first-class service to sales, marketers, and other trading teams.
  • Expand relationships with Exotics and F&O teams.
  • Collaborate with structuring, quantitative research, technology, legal, and control functions.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in trading or financial markets.
  • Strong quantitative and coding skills, with proficiency in Python and VBA.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Accuracy, efficiency, and independence in daily business.
  • Client-focused mindset and ability to deliver first-class service.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams across the business.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience trading delta one products or global indexes.
  • Experience developing tools for trading desks.
  • Familiarity with corporate actions hedging and dividends reinvestment.
  • Experience working with Exotics and F&O teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Math, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proactive approach to learning and professional development.
