As an Analyst within our Cash Sales Team, you will have the opportunity to trade single stock equity and equity-linked products. Based in London, you will cover equities listed in international markets, with a particular focus on the Americas. As an Analyst in Global Equities Cash Sales, you will support salestrading and trading infrastructure for international equities, manage and develop client relationships, and provide market colour and liquidity solutions. You will work across multiple equity teams to integrate and promote the international equity product offering, manage live executions, and help promote the wider equity offering. You will be part of a network of inquisitive, smart, and collaborative team members, gaining valuable experience and responsibility.
Job Responsibilities
- Support existing salestrading and trading infrastructure for International equities
- Manage client relationships
- Develop new client relationships
- Provide market colour and liquidity solutions to clients
- Developing stock ideas
- Working across multiple equity teams to integrate and promote the International equity product offering
- Order management for live executions
- Promote wider equity offering
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Track record in developing and maintaining relationships
- Ability to thrive under pressure and maintain calm and focus to meet the client needs
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills
- Client focused and can work well with colleagues in a fast-paced environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to translate complex financial concepts into simple language and concrete action steps
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong knowledge of trading systems, Bloomberg, Microsoft office suite.
This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
