Job Summary
As a Product Associate in EMEA Complex Assets Product Management within Securities Services, you will report to the EMEA Complex Assets Product Lead and support the regional product agenda. You will help deliver a cohesive product and operating model in partnership with Middle Office, Fund Accounting, and Margin Services—supporting sales/RFI/RFP execution, product offering definition, client management, and internal stakeholder coordination. You will also develop strong subject matter expertise in how Complex Assets are managed across partner functions and contribute to initiatives that enhance operational standards and the overall client experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare RFI/RFP responses and coordinate inputs from relevant teams
- Assist with deal pricing, contract review, and profitability summaries for RFPs and organic growth
- Contribute to client management and help articulate the Complex Assets product offering alongside Fund Accounting, Middle Office, and Margin Services
- Support the EMEA Product Lead and senior stakeholders in developing Complex Assets product definitions
- Draft and maintain sales literature; support client service education programs to ensure salesperson/client service competency in the Complex Assets offering
- Monitor applicable regulations and flag regulatory changes that may impact product offerings or solutions
- Support strategic initiatives to improve cross-product operating models
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience in product management, operations, or a related function
- Securities industry experience in middle office and/or back office for asset managers and/or financial institutions
- Working knowledge of derivatives including OTCs, CFDs, FX, ETDs, loans, including product structures, lifecycle events, valuation, settlement, margining and collateral.
- Client engagement experience, including pitching, leading discussions, solutioning, due diligence and ongoing governance
- Strong communication skills, able to synthesize complex topics
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships internally and with external clients
- Strong prioritisation skills and ability to manage competing deadlines
- Familiarity with cost and pricing methodologies (to evaluate new business) is an advantage
- High ownership and proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate issues, escalate appropriately and drive resolution
