As an Associate – Government and Regulatory Relations Policy Coordinator in Government and Regulatory Relations, you will support strategic policy initiatives, stakeholder engagement activities, and operational processes across the region. You will help drive disciplined execution by coordinating projects, maintaining governance frameworks, preparing materials for senior stakeholders, and improving operating processes. Working closely with colleagues across Legal, Compliance, Risk, Communications, and business teams, you will help ensure effective delivery of key priorities and consistent stakeholder engagement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate strategic workstreams by maintaining project plans, milestones, action logs, decision trackers, and governance routines.
  • Monitor deliverables and drive timely follow-up with stakeholders to support successful execution of priorities.
  • Produce regular status reports and dashboards, highlighting risks, dependencies, and key decisions.
  • Support the planning and implementation of strategic policy and regulatory initiatives across the region.
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities by maintaining engagement plans, tracking outcomes, and supporting follow-up actions.
  • Prepare agendas, briefing materials, talking points, background documents, and engagement summaries for senior stakeholder meetings.
  • Manage review and approval processes to ensure materials are accurate, consistent, and delivered on schedule.
  • Maintain calendars and trackers for key policy developments, engagement opportunities, and external events.
  • Develop and enhance operating tools, templates, playbooks, and governance processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Coordinate cross-functional input from internal stakeholders and support alignment of messaging and priorities.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion while exercising strong judgment in a high-trust environment.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, International Relations, Economics, Law, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience supporting policy operations, government relations, regulatory affairs, public affairs, program management, or a related function.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously in a complex environment.
  • Strong project coordination and organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing executive-level materials.
  • Experience producing reports, meeting materials, trackers, and governance documentation.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and manage sensitive or confidential information appropriately.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify risks, dependencies, and required actions.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships across a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of policy and regulatory environments or the ability to quickly develop subject matter expertise.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience supporting senior stakeholder engagement activities involving policymakers, regulators, or industry associations.
  • Experience establishing operational frameworks, governance routines, templates, or process improvements.
  • Knowledge of policy areas related to financial services, resilience, technology, data policy, or broader regulatory developments.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with public policy, government affairs, or advocacy functions.
  • European language skills.
  • Experience working across international stakeholder groups and jurisdictions.
