As a Solutions Analyst III in Payments Technology - UAT, you will provide test management and supervision for the Payments Technology LOB in a cross-business, cross-functional project-based environment and support the strategic roll out of an automated testing solution, and you will also be expected to support the strategic roll out of an automated testing solution.
Job responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day E2E/UAT test team delivery, including supervision, work allocation, issue resolution, and regular manager updates.
- Provide accurate test effort estimates and clear status reporting in daily Scrum ceremonies.
- Plan and manage testing requirements aligned to the E2E test strategy (data, environments, defect management, automation).
- Facilitate daily Scrum calls and deputize for the Program Test Manager in fortnightly Delivery Working Group meetings.
- Manage stakeholder and delivery team expectations across scope, readiness, constraints, and timelines during E2E execution.
- Identify and drive test automation opportunities and testing synergies across the project.
- Maintain a team knowledge audit/matrix, identify skill gaps, coordinate upskilling, and ensure skills are transferable.
- Escalate risks/issues to the Program Test Manager and communicate impacts to testing plans and project timelines.
- Create, document, and execute test scenarios and scripts using BDD practices (e.g., Gherkin).
- Partner closely with Operations, Product, and Technology teams to enable delivery outcomes.
- Monitor, report, and manage defects through triage, re-test, closure, and results sign-off/readiness validation.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience, or equivalent practical expertise.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining automated test frameworks using Cucumber/Gherkin and Python.
- Functional knowledge of the Payments domain with end-to-end testing lifecycle expertise (requirements through execution).
- Demonstrated experience using test automation tools to enable efficient and timely E2E test execution.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage day-to-day priorities independently.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to oversee critical tasks accurately under tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills: able to structure complex issues, learn unfamiliar processes quickly, and deliver timely remediation.
- Excellent attention to detail; able to prevent errors and identify redundancies and improvement opportunities.
- Ability to maintain strategic context, identify process improvements, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Strong data-driven reporting and communication skills, providing clear updates to stakeholders across levels.
- Strong collaboration skills across lines of business, with demonstrated use of enterprise-authorized AI and disciplined validation/data-sensitivity practices.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experienced in using Business Driven Development / Test Driven Development test methodology or test case automation.
- Experienced in using Cucumber / Gherkin & Python is required.
- Identifying opportunities to accelerate and synergies testing processes for assigned projects and syndicate the information to other team members to validate prior to implementation.
- Relevant testing experience within the Financial Services industry supporting multiple LOB’s delivering in a highly complex, pressurized and high volume environment.
- Advanced numeracy and Microsoft skills. PowerPoint / Pitch Pro skills - able to create professional slides and structure presentations with minimal input and need for secondary review.
