Investor Relations (also known as Transfer Agency) provides services to Hedge Funds and Private Equity Funds and acts as an interface between fund promoters/distributors and investors for subscriptions, redemptions, switches, and transfers. Core services include account opening, AML/KYC, trading, pricing, payments, cash settlement and reconciliation, corporate actions, dividend distributions, FATCA/CRS reporting, and client/investor/distributor/regulatory reporting.

As a Customer Success Associate – Investor Relations (IR) within the Transfer Agency Team, you will support the delivery of IR services to clients across Alternative Fund Services, contributing to client service excellence and the controlled execution of operational and change activities under guidance from senior team members.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support fund setup activities, including assisting with report design/configuration and related operating solutions.

  • Assist with completeness/quality reviews for new fund documentation (PPMs, supplements, and dealing documentation) and fund activity/changes.

  • Partner with IR and cross-functional AFS teams to help ensure end-to-end processes are completed in line with JPMorganChase risk management policies.

  • Support client demonstrations and help prepare materials for sales presentations relating to Transfer Agency systems and capabilities.

  • Contribute to systems implementations and data migration activities as part of project delivery teams.

  • Assist with process/procedure documentation and continuous improvement initiatives (accuracy, efficiency, and risk mitigation).

  • Support the identification of risk areas and assist in tracking remediation actions.

  • Contribute to MIS/KPI production and ongoing reporting for the department.

  • Participate in audit support activities (internal and external) as required.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by team management.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 2+ years of experience or equivalent expertise.

  • Strong Microsoft Office capability (Word, Excel, Access, Visio, Outlook or similar).

  • Comfortable using technology with a willingness to learn new technological skills, programs and tools.

  • Working knowledge (or strong interest in developing knowledge) of hedge fund and private equity fund structures, products, asset classes, and operational workflows.

  • Analytical approach to gathering information & strong data analysis capability, including strong Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUPs; macros exposure).

  • Ability to prioritise, manage time effectively, and work efficiently across competing demands.

  • Strong team orientation, collaborating constructively and contributing reliably to shared outcomes.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; confidence interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Execution focus, including tracking progress and coordinating with other groups to deliver outcomes.

  • Strong organisational savvy and ability to operate effectively across a matrixed, global environment.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Understanding of Hedge Fund Accounting / Investor Relations systems

  • Proficiency in SQL

  • Experience in alternative investment servicing; exposure to Investor Relations / Transfer Agency, operations, or regulatory practices

  • Familiarity with IR/TA platforms and tooling (e.g., NTAS, Multifonds, Flexcube, Riva)

  • Understanding of FIS’ ManTra and/or Investran

  • Interest in performance fee concepts (e.g., equalisation, series of shares, limited partnership performance allocations; hurdle rate / high watermark mechanics)

  • Openness to innovation and continuous improvement.

Extended hours/weekends may be required during integration/implementation of new business or systems, and during peak cycles (year-end, month-end, tax season, etc.).
